AutoVue 2D Professional
Following are known problems with the AutoVue viewers that are actively being resolved wherever possible. Some of these issues are limited to the BlueCielo implementation of the viewers and are the responsbility of BlueCielo ECM Solutions. Other issues are native to the viewers themselves and are the responsibility of Oracle, Inc. Solutions will be provided as hotfixes or in future Meridian releases.
- The AutoVue Desktop versions are not supported by the 64-bit Meridian clients. Consider installing the AutoVue Web Version in such cases. For more information, see the BlueCielo Meridian Enterprise Administrator's Guide.
- No support for object enablers in DWG files created by the AutoCAD vertical applications and Autodesk Inventor. The objects are not shown in the viewer.
- Right-clicking to display the shortcut menu may execute the Zoom All command.
- Drawings may not display correctly after using the Show Product Structure command.
- Thumbnail images are not created if Windows Vista User Account Control (UAC) is enabled.
- Thumbnail images are built from the model view, not from layouts. If the model view is empty but a non-empty layout exists, the thumbnail image will be empty.
- The BlueCielo client application may fail after successive uses of Print Preview.
- The Print Preview command Current page option does not work. All pages are shown. The option does work for the Print command.
- License file information may be requested when switching between:
- AutoVue Desktop and AutoVue Web Version viewers
- BlueCielo viewer and AutoVue viewers
- When viewing documents in Web Access with the Enable Office Web Client option disabled
Restarting the client application resolves the error.
